Whoopee doo, yet another election where there isn't a party to vote for who represents your average working person and their best interests.

Vote for the greens

Or anyone but the main 3 parties.

None of them speak for me.

Wouldn't even be worth a bet. Given this whole election is to see if there is appetite for a second referendum, God knows who the unionists will have to vote for to prevent another referendum. Conservatives? Theresa May will have to walk out in Glasgow to the tune of The Sash.

I think the SNP's education policy will be at the forefront of this debate, which could be significant.

How many seats do Labour and Conservatives have up there at present ? Whatever the number is ( and I suspect its a very, very, low number ) I wouldn't fancy them to hang onto them.

Be interesting to see what happens in Northern Ireland. Wasn't the DUP majority cut from 10 seats to just 1 recently ? Read an article on the reintroduction of a hard border post Brexit and most of the people interviewed in the Border areas said it would be economic suicide or a return to the days of smuggling. :-)

In Scotland Lab, Con and Lib have a seat each, whilst the SNP have the rest. I seem to recall!

It's fake news, organised by the club to distract us from more important matters.

Agree with this. Infact some tories are already claiming that if the SNP lose just one seat it will be seen as a decline in the support for a referendum.

You couldnt make it up.

Keeping personal loyalties to one side, please Hartlepool vote for someone other than Labour. Become a marginal seat and the difference in investment will be immense.

We'd be much better off voting Tory surely, they are going to be in for the foreseeable future.

I never understand this party loyalty. Hartlepool have been fucked by government all the time. Only way to get things done is to be a marginal seat. But no one will vote Tory so basically the vote against is split. So the dwarf or Dracula score him got in. Basically all the lib dems ukip and Torys need to pull together vote for one and say fuck you to labour who treat us like shit because Hartlepool love voting for it as my dad and his dad did.

Just vote for the Tories if you want to see the total destruction of the NHS as we know it. Every school kid not taking money to school for meals but for their education. Most people going to foodbanks because they are NOT 'Just About Managing'. Not to mention unemployment figures plummeting because most will be on zero hours contracts and benefits cuts for the disabled.

It won't be against Iain Wright as he's not standing.

But irregardless of which way Hartlepool votes they are going to win the general election. Add to your consideration the current to state of the Labour Party and the fact that the SNP have taken over Scotland taking lots of traditional seats I see it being a very very long time until Labour government will be office again. It surely would only take the Conversatives to put forward a decent profile candidate here to win? Another Labour MP will just see the Town cast further into the wilderness, surely it's time for Hartlepool to vote with its head? I won't hold my breath though!

I don't think there will ever be a government other than a Tory one ever again.

People are so readily brainwashed these days, they will believe all the bullshit the right wing press fling at them, and continue voting for someone other than Labour.

The problem now is that the right wing 'own' social media too, so expect plenty more fake news to influence the outcome of elections forever more.

Labour could help themselves by having a credible leader.

Chip I wish I shared your optimism. Immigrants will continue to be blamed for all the ills caused by the rich, along with terrorists and anyone else the media decides.

I'm sick about them going on about "the leader" . We don't live in North Korea British Politics is based on what the Parties believe and it's Manifesto not a Tin Pot Dictator or President . Why is the media allowed to promote so much drivel and biased garbage. .Corbyn will be a crap leader is their mantra on every news programme .Not the obvious that we are presiding over the demonisation of the working class and the destruction of the health service. At least Wright has gone so it will shut up some of the idiots in Hartlepool. . PS ..I hope UKIP fook right off never to return after this election too..
