Can't do any worse, genuinely think it's the plan to get us relegated. Take the parachute payment, buy the land for the ground and fuck pools into oblivion.

He is a Sage employee, no chance of him being sacked.

Orient had 8 youth team players in starting 11.

Possibly darkest day in Pool's 100+ years history.

Embarrassing.

Only hope is someone sacks him. We need a motivator to get some life into these losers.

You say, "Don't bother coming in on Monday." Simple as that.

Jones and his two sidekicks have swapped keeping it on the deck and keeping possession for hoof ball, and destroyed whatever team spirit Pools had in the process.

FFS, get Collins back in to pick the team, Hignett to do the coaching and Ronnie Moore to do the pre-match talk and we might stand a chance.

Do anything, just get shot of the fat Scouse miserabilist.

Any reasonably sized radiator could fulfill his role as manager. In my opinion.

Thats fair due saying the players do not want to play for Jones who is a disaster, how ever there was 351 poolies there today who have spent alot of money and time to go watching players in a HUFC shirt and for them not to play is unforgivable.

I for one now see last weeks joke of 250 quid for a season ticket with this crew in charge they have got no bob hope of getting my money in any case they are liable to leggit with the money.

Embarrassing.

Like i have said so many times over the last couple of weeks watching pools home and away i just carnt work jones out.
Today we are playing against a youth team and you have bates who has played in a UEFA Cup Final and carnt get into a team that has now picked up 2 points from the last 18.

Something really stinks here but what can we do as supporters besides booing or boycotting were will that get us so i suppose in the end it will be down to money they get no support and the town losers its football team.

Very Very sad that its finally come down to this at least have a bit of pride if nothing else.

Keep your money in your pocket. Fuck the season ticket off until just before the summer. That way if coxall fucks off, there won't be any cash being 'lost'. Once he's gone get a season ticket and get behind any fund raising taking place. Darlo pulled ut together, so can we.

It seems like our season went off the rails sometime in the autumn when we also seemed to lose the season ticket, league and sponsorship money all at once and then couldn't pay the bills. The consequence being a few loans and a January transfer window based on cost cutting and gambling away our league status.

At the time many pointed out the negligence of selling first team players, particularly defended and replacing with a couple of loan kid forwards.

Amazingly many people still blaming the players and not the above for the plight we are in

He hasn't changed anything since coming in, he's made zero difference to how we play, he has thrown in a shit load of coaches but we need players not coaches. Thank fuck he isn't contracted.

I reckon there are two issues.

One; he doesn't know what to do with a group of players that don't get what he's telling him.

Two: he thinks he's way better than this level.

You see players who've done it at a higher level but can't hack it when they drop down the leagues, the same seems to be the case with Jones. In so many of his interviews he likes to point out he is use to working at a higher level and compares us to that. He needs to understand that this is a relegation battle in League 2, the gates aren't huge, the players aren't great and some weeks you might get kicked all over the pitch. Start playing with a bit of fight and a bit of passion and at least you'll have the fans onside.

On the highlights show on C5, Jones said something like he felt sorry for the fans, at least pretend like you mean it! I set off at 6 yesterday morning and got back about half 11, after that spineless performance, some half-arsed apology doesn't cut it

Quote from The Mail

Jones dismissed any notions there is a lack of fight in the players, though they were certainly shown up in that regard by bottom club Leyton Orient’s young side. “There is fight there, there just wasn’t enough of it,” said the Pools boss, who wants the players who were at the club during the Great Escape to come to the fore.

That's a lack of fight you fucking arrogant chump

Most of the team act like a bunch of nice but sensitive lads... great if your daughters bringing one home to meet the family. However, we are fighting for our very excistence and they need to be scrapping for every ball and showing what they're made of which is bearing a remarkable similarity to nougat. Soft nougat.
