Just seen something on Twitter regarding an article with a firm called BLK Sports who are moving into Football with Hartlepool. They are a local firm based in Stockton by the looks of it who mainly deal with rugby league kits.

There was something earlier in the season where the club stated it was the last season with Nike. There's legs in this Mr Mac, keep running.

As far as I'm aware there is/was a manufacturer in Stockton who makes kits under licence on behalf of other major/minor companies. Maybe tied to the OP.

We need a detective agency on here!

I believe that the guy who owns the distribution (and possibly license) rights to BLK in the UK also owns Pierre Cardin and Ben Sherman. Not 100% sure though.

They mainly do rugby kits and have a few big deals with the likes of saracans and England rugby league team

Kits look shit like. But I'm not 12 so not really fussed

The bloke who is director of BLK Sport UK is also the director of a new company called BLK Sport Holdings Limited and is the Conservative candidate for the new position of Tees Mayor. He is also a qualified solicitor and is some relation to Keith Houchen

Do you locate the shop at the ground or at a town centre location?

Surely at the ground to save on rent. If it's viable a town centre shop should be in addition to the one at the ground.

That said, surely people only go in the town centre for a Greggs these days, not sure what else is there.

Did I imagine it but didn't we sell shirts in Asda from a stall about 2004ish when the Nike can't first came out?

Probably cheaper n you'd get more customers than the town

You can create designs etc on that BLK website, surprised no one attempted any yet.

I bet you asked for the sponsor to be under the shirt but they just put it on top anyway.

Is Venezia sponsoring the Club and the Bunker next season, or just the Club, or just the Bunker? :confusion-confused:

Dunno, but the current location is awful. They wont get any passing trade or impulse buys. The odd time I've been in there, its usually been to get presents for the bairn or my brother, and I've nearly always been the only one in there.

They would sell loads more on the run up to Christmas if they did have an outlet in the Town Centre, stuff like duts, scarves, gloves, calendars, odd bits and bobs.

There is opportunity for passing trade when people pass through the car park after the match but the shop is always shut - this has to change......
