Not personally but a mate of mine is a primary school teacher and his Y3 class use it to create websites.

My year 3 son just made one. Looks decent but even at age 7 I expect better.

To be fair you're unlikely to get a professional looking website by side stepping professional help.

Used SquareSpace to do ours and it worked out pretty well apart from us never getting round to finishing things. Got professional help with the design though.

If you want something that looks professional, use a professional. I used to work for a web design company and we had to do loads of rescue jobs on novice attempts.

Ask to see examples of their work, and speak to their clients.

I'm doing a bit of work for a mate who has a web design company at the moment, their prices start at £1200 + VAT. If that's in your price range then give me a shout.

Surge Marketing in Boro are excellent. Look after some big companies like Lightwater Valley, Xscape and Pickerings Lifts

I used Wix to create this site, which may be amateurish, but I didn't need anything too fancy or to shed out a load of money

www.8-aubone-avenue.co.uk

The property is not yet under offer, if anybody is interested

That's not a bad effort. If there's one thing I would change on there it is the colour of the text in the background, it is really difficult to read.

I'd have bought it at the asking price but I hate paper lamp shades so I'm out.

The paper shades were to continue the neutral look, but can easily be tailored to your requirements - unless you want fancy, expensive chandeliers.

Thanks for your input Mr Nottingham; will review the content

Not one to criticise, but why build a house hidden by a tREE?

Wordpress is the one ... I've done a few. Free or very cheap, with good support, forums and loads of templates to choose from and amend. I went to a company once and they charged me loads and made it all very difficult to edit and work with. Wordpress sites can have everything, and if you're looking for a simple one, then it's canny easy.

Perspective, my dear man, to show the extent of the garden. Plus, I think the house existed before the tree (with apologies to the Hamster)
