Post subject: The state of the roads in this fecking country.....
PostPosted: Fri Sep 08, 2006 7:53 pm
I've just got a new contract working on an XP roll out across the UK
Part of the deal was for me (and others) to attend a brief overview in Telford of what we were going to do and pick up a laptop and mobile phone

I left my gaff at 5:55am this morning to get there in good time (I live in Knaresborough) and got there at...... 9:42am

The overview finished and 12:50pm and I had a 15 minute break for a piss, but due to the M60, M62 nightmare, followed by that big bellend Robert Williams and all of his twee bumhole fans in Leeds I got back to my gaff at 6:30pm

So a round trip of c280miles took nearly 10hrs, I would of been quicker swimming it!

Smashing!, so I'm going to get tanked up right now

Boom Boom

The car Laurel & Hardy drove would have made it the journey in the same time, I think my average MPH was about 27.82

Ah so you're getting PAID for your 10 hours on the road - no wonder you went slowly
