To be fair that's not bad for Hartlepool so far, I don't mind Cast and used to listen to The Strypes quite a bit.

Apparently in talks with Dodgy

Thanks Mr Mac, one of my mates is a massive Cast fan so I'll let him know. We just might fill a mini bus from Metropolis!!!!

As an aside weren't Dodgy one hit/album wonders?

As another aside weren't Cast formed from a fallout from the LA's? If I remember the lead singer left after an arguement and the guitarist formed Cast coz he wanted to lead sing too!

Is trance still on the go? I remember that from the 90s and it was repetitive tripe back then. Each to their own I suppose.

The guy running it was basically a serial fraudster, pocketed a shit load of money from the Council, left them with stuff to pay for (not artists, but Stage/Sound/Facilities Hire etc) and fooked off with it.

It was (despite what you read on HBC's History Website where they claim "10,000 watched it") an utter flop and a financial disaster.

Later did time for various misdemeanours including this one but it was small fry compared to some of his stunts.

Close shave....he took us to The Dilshad and wanted to sign the band to his "Management Consortium"
