Started the season off with four of us season ticket holders. Yesterday there was just me left by dinner time. A resigned weariness came over me and thought I can't be arsed and carried on with the wiring job I was doing.
After all these years, the candle has started to flicker. Years of enduring subsistence football didn't bother me one bit, you can put up with that if you know those in charge are at least making an effort, but the last years of stagnation under IOR and this Punch and Judy outfit who rode into town promising us the world have got me down. Even George built a ground and a decent team!
I feel like I'm having the piss taken out of me and don't believe a word I'm told anymore. What a sad state of affairs we've arrived at.

Shame that it was a good game and a decent atmosphere.

I think the ageing process is being rapidly accelerated under the present owners.
I'd look in the mirror if I was you just to look for the signs

Sad but understandable......this shower and their multiple winding up orders and wound up companies are an insult to the town, club and supporters who deserve so much more.

Like many I fear this will not end up well,

Heerema's doing the chair, I contracted it out....... if you drive past you'll see the cranes assembling it. The wiring's out of a decommissioned nuclear submarine, HMS Incinerator .
I can 't decide on varnish for it, narrowed it down to Woodland Brown or Mellow Turd .
