Went to the Eye Infirmary today for my post-op check up and they seem fine with it....I'm not 100% in agreement as I'm still having flashes in my peripheral vision....but I'll see how it goes!!!!

Anyway me an our lass went into the museum to see the Punk 76-78 Exhibition....Not impressed at all....thought it would have been much better!!!!

Walking through Mowbray Park we noticed a statue of a woman holding a child in her arms with the words....Victoria Hall Calamity 1883....183 children die!!!!

Just shows how dangerous it was doing everyday things in Victorian times. Even until relatively recently I suppose. My mam's uncle got killed in the steelworks when a load dropped off a crane on him, which I think was in the late 60s. Deaths like that weren't unusual apparently.
