I'm sitting down in a comfy chair and trying to relax but it is too difficult in the circumstances. Jerboam of champagne in the fridge ready for the big news.

If the daft bastad had left it a year or two it would be a leap year and he could have had 29 days.

Fuck all as expected. Talk of players being sold and youngsters coming in on loan.

Very familiar.

Apart from Defoe there's none of Sunderlands first team I'd want particularly so on that basis I hope it's Defoe. It has been rumoured he wants to move back further South so boxes ticked on that score.

idiotic twelve year old Josh Baskin is on line to go on a ride at an amusement park. Directly behind him is a cute girl he knows from school, who strikes up a conversation with him. When he gets to the front, he is smaller than the wooden cutout used to determine whether one is big enough to go on the ride, and he is extremely humiliated. Moments later, he puts a coin in a fortune telling machine and is told to make a wish. In the wake of his embarrassment, he, innocently enough, wishes that he were big.

To his astonishment, when Josh awakes the next morning, his wish has been granted. Though still atwelve year old child in every respect but physically, his is longer recognizable to his mother, he must leave home and, once he learns that resolving his problem will take a long time, has no choice but to try to make his own way This means getting a job and mingling in the world of adults. As it turns out, the job he gets at a toy manufacturer is perfect for him, as his insight into what toys kids will like greatly impresses senior management, and leads to an executive position.

Handsome with an uderstandably youthful exuberance, Josh is attractive to a female executive in is company, and the result is a romatic interlude which, due to his inexpereince, he is largely incapable of handling. Eventually, he shares his secret with her, but, at first, she doesn't believe him. As she gets a closer and closer look at his behavior, however, she comes to understand.

Finally, Josh finds the arcade machine that had granted his wish, and wished to have the orgiinal wish undone, returning to his mother after weeks away form home.

The real beauty of the fillum lies in the realization that an adult that manages to maintain the exuberance of youth is one to be greatly envied, and while the means by which this message is conveyed is highly unconventional, the message is delivered with insight and clarity.

Did I take upset the little wallflowers, get to fuck with your self righteous bollocks, I have a 92 year old mother with full blown dementia and yes a little humour helps, I didn`t slag off any dementia people, it was a lame ass joke, always the same dumb not nice people!

And Mr B, I am not the voice of the trust, just a cog and if they want me to stop, then hey ho, at least I am capable of making a decision and putting my head above the parapet, try it!

Making a decision? I haven't got the time. I have a 40+ hour a week job and 4 children to look after.

Nothing to do with parapets or decisions.

Just because you think something is funny/helps you cope etc doesn't make it the case for everyone else.

It truly was a lame ass joke, at least you've got enough insight to see that.

Rightly or wrongly you are associated with the Trust and have given others on another board and on here the excuse they rarely need to have another dig at the Trust and associate you with it. Whether you think it's lame ass humour or not other people think any jokes mocking disability is offensive.

I know this is just a message board and you have a persona on here and the Bunker is for free speech etc but really what's the point when you know what the reaction on here and elsewhere will be? Especially as the joke was so shit as well

I don't think that joke was funny because its old and I've heard it a million times...
but I don't think that offensive either.

My Nana had Alzheimer's for years until she died and to be honest I don't find the joke offensive either on this occasion. I just think what is the point each time as some people will take it personally and we know the reaction and implications each time, its not worth it

It wasn't offensive, it was bad taste as much as it was shite humour. The fact it was monkeybutt AGAIN is why people have jumped on him.
After his spell of enforced silence (or at least enforced using of another username) he had a period of decent contribution to the board but evidently he can't control that inner dick that makes him post shit.

Am I the only person who posts guano, NO, will I do it again, probably, I just lack a filter like most people, yes I can be offensive, but I have a strange sense of humour, sorry like :shhh:

This has a distinct feel of POK ism. A lot of people didn't get him and some ganged up to jump on him. This has that feel about it.

Monkey butt has posted nothing more offensive than most others definitely myself included. He is not going to be banned temporarily or permantly so get used to it.

If you're offended then deal with it. Nobody died of being offended.

Bugger all like how POK was treated. He didn't get or understand certain things, Monkeybutt is older, wiser, and knows exactly what he's doing. Constantly pushes the envelope and tests the boundaries.
