Anyone off to South Shields tomorrow night for the Durham Challenge Cup quarter final game.

They are second top of the Northern League and expect a decent crowd. We might put out a reasonable team given that Jones is still assessing the squad.

Should be a good game. 7.30 ko.

If they announce the team early enough I'll probably have a drive up.

Just had a look at the South Shields team, they have Darren Holden, Julio Arca, David Foley and Jon Shaw playing for them.

Maybe squad rotation and were "Holden" him for the DCC! bbolt

Seriously though South Shields are a good side backed by a local Millionaire who wants to get them up the pyramid. Spending money on the best players for the level. They beat the Mighty Bishops 4-0 at our place earlier in the season, Arca (must be in his mid to late 40's)MOM and he never seemed to leave the centre circle!

Will be a good test. They have been getting crowds of 1000 plus so should be a good showing if both teams put out a decent side.

Was going to go but shift changed to late at work

Won't be a decent team though. Pools are restricted from fielding a strong team. Sure it's something daft like anyone who's been named in the squad in last four 1st team games can't play. Be reserves, youth and any trialists.

Of course, separate the true fans from those bastard arm chair experts.

Not me. I don't even know what a kodi box is. I've read the kodi box thread but it didn't make sense. Is it a kind of wireless?

Would you like me to explain the technicalities of the Kodi Box?

That sounds like something Donald Trump would say before making a grab.

I want to know what they are first. Caution is always the best thing. I expect you know nothing, as usual.

I am quite offended that you claim I know nothing.

OK, I do know nothing.

But I am still offended. :angry-tappingfoot:

Well, you shouldn't pretend to know about kodi boxes when you don't.
