Gave probably the worst display from a professional footballer it has ever been my misfortune to watch. Boy against men didn't come into it. He ran around like Alan Carr having no impact on the game and being swatted aside like an irritating fly. Once again he proved he should be out of the captaincy, out of the side and out of the door

Our midfield is has to be the Softie Walters of the football league, you could cause a reign of terror for them with a balloon on a stick. Combative is not a word that features in my assessment of them.

Henry you're obsessed man. The whole side is lacking in many areas you want to blame it on one player in some sort of obsessional desire to prove you are right. I imagine you waiting and watching with glee for every mistake Featherstone makes in order to come on here and slag him off while knocking one out

I can assure you I get no pleasure from watching that twat. And even less after paying £60 for the non privilege. I went to the game with my daughter and her boyfriend who is a Cardiff City fan and reckons we have a top guy in. Dave Jones. So it is only the players we need now. Both full backs looked ok yeterday and Amond for the short time he was on. How Allessandra started in front if him is anyone's guess.

We conceded three goals from corners. That suggests a lot more needs sorting out before worrying about Featherstone who is probably closer to being one of our best players than one of our worst. Which probably sums up our problems.

I realise this thread was started by an attention seeking sad act but I'll indulge him slightly by suggesting any ' supporter' calling one of his own players a 'twat' is an utter bellend.

What about that twat who plays for the 'ammers?, not the twat with the long hair?, but the one who is refusing to play, he's a twat and no mistake and I think it would be perfectly acceptable for fans of west ham to call him a twat

Different really isn't it? He's talking about someone who plays when asked and does his best and although probably someone not really suited to playing on a swamp against a load of giants he's not actually a bad player. The he full squad lacks a bit of physicality and the inconsistency highlights collective mental weakness I'm not sure one player deserves singling out and name calling really.

Normally a squad is assembled to be able to cope with different situations, ours was put together to play one way. There aren't many who are in or around the match day squad who I'd say just aren't good enough, they're decent players in their own right but don't work together as a team. Personally I don't mind Featherstone but his main weakness is those around him, they're too similar and nobody offers anything different so when one of them isn't in the game, they usually aren't alone.

I'd also agree that we have a mentally weak squad, things go wrong and nobody says anything, never mind encouraging the team and taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Some are injured but for me, we need to stop picking the 'best' individuals and start picking the best team.
