Which would be more comfortable, a Louis XV or a Hepplewhite?

Do you really know your stuff or are you just keyboard warriors?

I'd always go for a Hepplewhite over a Louis XV however its just a matter of taste. Both are exquisite and made to last, in fact furniture you can trust to last generations.

Either are far better than the likes of Essex based retailer Wayfair who sell cheap furniture that looks good at first glance but doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

I bought a house about 15/20 years ago which was almost empty, apart from, amongst other things an "Old Persons" Armchair (like you see advertised in The Sunday papers magazines etc)! I still have it now, comfy as owt!!! FACT

Did you remove the skeleton of the previous tenant from it or do you just sit on it regardless....?

Surely Louis XV would have had a throne rather than a common or garden armchair?
