And yellow did we ever have yellow spuds when we were kids ???
I seem to remember the only time they went yellow was when you put lashings of full fat butter on them mmmmmm I'm off to nuke a couple now to see if I can re create the look/ taste ??

You should try some "vivaldi" white potatoes absoloutely tip top.
There from Sainsburys Taste the Difference range you know.....

Caterers buy 'pre-cooked' baked taties. They batter 'em with sonic waves to break them down and then you only have to warm them up. These are the ones that taste like cardboard and have the consistency of cotton wool. The ones that they have in the oven in foil all night are the ones that taste like a baked tatie and should be lathered with a quality proprietary brand of baked beans and grated mature cheddar and a cheeky sprig of parsley. :wink:
