I asked him last week and he said "Definitely AFTER January"... I mean that could be March 2018.

He confirmed to me that Goldberg is off due to personal reasons but when I replied asking if he is still involved with Pools, he ignored it. He also ignored the further three tweets about Goldberg but replied instantly when asked about the fans forum.

Can't understand why some people are burying their heads in the sand. The amount of "evidence" that things are not well seem to be undeniable - yet some still seem to be unconcerned, of feel there is nothing they can do about it.

In complete agreement with chip and geoffn has it spot on. And I too have spent a long time taking the piss.

But when things are getting this naughty we all have to come together.

But something bugs me and I may be completely wrong but I suspect a few prefertheir fancy dress day out than getting to the truth.

Its just a shame tjat no local journo has shown more interest..

The other thing I don't get is why some people are still so "anti trust" even laughing about it whenever it is mentioned. I was sceptical at first especially with some of the early protagonists and way it came into being. Now it only seems to make sense to be a member. Numbers may not be great but it is one way of pulling together in an effort to protect the club we love. It may not be needed. It may fail. But it is better than the alternative of sitting back and waiting for the shit to hit the fan.

Pointless being split into factions. Once our fans were united in what we were doing we made big strides in getting things sorted. Yes mistakes were made but they were our mistakes, no blagger of a chairman to make the mistakes then blame everyone but himself. We have done ok with it all being told.

Is it because those folk didn't think of it that they are so against it? I suspect the majority have a friend who is dead against it so they just do as he does.

I'll give you a non football example... This sadly, is true. I know a woman who won't shop at Tesco in the town, It's too big, so goes to the one near North Tees at Stockton, same with Morrisons, Teesside Park and Asda Portrack. It defies logic, but the same could be applied to Pools.

If the Tesco in Hartlepool is too big, then why not go to the Billingham one, the Tesco near the Horse and Jockey in Stockton is pretty much as big as the Hartlepool branch. Obviously, like the trust naysayers, there is no point in wasting your time arguing with her/them.
