DESPITE the disappontiment of Saturday's defeat, Chris Westwood believes that The Saddlers can still be crowned League Two Champions.

Defeat at the hands of The Shakers left The Saddlers three points behind leaders Hartlepool with two games to go but the 30 year-old defender has refused to rule out the teams chances of lifting silverware at the end of the season. "Saturday was disappointing, especially with Hartlepool only drawing on Friday night," he said. "It was our big chance to close the gap but we didn't do that.

"But if you look throughout football that always seems to be the way. When somebody slips up, you go and do exactly the same thing.

"The title is what we're aiming for still but, at the same time, let's not forget what we've already achieved.

"There's still two games to go and Hartlepool are in the driving seat, so nothing has really changed from that point-of-view.

"All we can do is win our last two games and hope that Hartlepool slip up."
