Christmas and New year is a bit boring innit, all there is to do is eat and drink as much shit as possible. I'm currently laid on the couch with a rum and coke with a box of Cadburys heroes balanced on my stomach.

Similar, I have a can of John Smiths smooth and a biscuit selection box to nibble on. On the bright side its my special day on Thursday so I can celebrate in the middle of Xmas and New Year.

Do you only get day release once a year?

Can of Abbot Ale and a Thorntons Continental box on the table - watching Porridge and waiting for Steptoe and Son to start.

Before I moved on to the rum I enjoyed these two ales. Both very nice.

You could always write (or draw or photograph) something about Pools for the January edition of Monkey Business if you're bored.

The deadline is next Tuesday (Jan 3), and Pools have conveniently managed to give you plenty to write about in the last week or so.

Just email it to bizzonline@hotmail.co.uk

I'm looking forward to going into work tomorrow to get a break from beer and chocolates. Loving all the bairns' lego though.

Technically it is mine as I paid for it. It's kept in their bedroom though. I think legal advice is needed.

I personally find Young Guns 2 to be more of an influence.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Sean Connery hasn't acted in anything since. Enough said.

I always found it baffling he played a Russian Sub Commander in the Hunt for Red October with a thick Scottish accent.

and James Bond.

And The Rock.

And Highlander.

(hang on....)

Thank you Ms Grabec. I have been able to go through the whole day with only 1 person (a good mate) buying me a pint. I do not like peeps announcing their special day just so someone buys them a drink. I feel great now I'm home and got away with no freebies!

Well, not realising this, Bishop, we all bought you drinks and lined them up on the Bunker bar.
We wondered why you didn't turn up :)
