Probably my favourite ever Pools player.

As mentioned above it was a great time to be a Pools fan, I genuinely used to look forward to it, have a few drinks before the game head in early and it was jam packed by 3pm. Watching players such as Nelson, Westy, Barron, Tinks, Ritchie, Boydy etc.. play every week and look fooking gutted when we lost, instead of the modern day thing on going on Twitter saying "Unlucky today lads, we move on" or something equally as shite (See Victor Anichebe for further details)

Those goals from 3:03 onwards are genius, if a premier league player done that they'd still be wanking over it now

He made football look so easy. Never really showboated, just gave everything he had and was head and shoulders above most players at that level.

We were all very, very lucky to support a team playing like that.

Boyd and Porter must have had some kind of brain meld going on. There's no way they could have that understanding without there being supernatural powers at play.

Sadly I think we'll never see a front two like them again. Williams, Humphreys and Clarke in support as well. Makes me sad to see what we have now.
