Got to say I'm not surprised that a tone of fatigue is setting in. Some of the stuff on here is starting to get repetitive and going round in circles. Matt Haycox was exposed as a first-class dodgepot on here on the Mortgage thread over a week ago.

The new stuff this week is the Master Plan PR puff and another £104,000 apparently unpaid to HMRC. Speaking as another Bunker SME owner, WTF? How big is the club's turnover? Does Coxall never pay anything over to the taxman without a threat of a court appearance?

There are people on the other board saying the whole thing is scaremongering, a recruitment drive for HUST. If only.

On the other hand, the tenor of a lot of comments on here suggests that the whole pack of cards is going to come crashing down in a matter of days, if not hours. That's not realistic either.

The more you dig into the history of this Goldberg fella ( assuming that's even his name ) the more depressing it gets.

He seems to have a cavalier attitude towards paying tax and little or no aptitude for running any kind of business, let alone one with the kind of turnover a League Two football club would generate.

It's just really hard to see how this can end anything other than badly. Selling off your best players to pay a tax bill is hardly a recipe for success, especially when we are not many points off the drop zone. We have already sold off stadium naming rights, kit sponsorship, and are out of all the cup competitions.

There are just under 5 months of the season left, wages need to paid, bills need to be paid, and attendances seem to be dwindling. Not sure there are any games where the away end will be packed and income generated from opposition fans.

We could post a list of Goldberg companies and highlight which are in the process of being liquidated and which are subject to winding up petitions currently, but it would only serve to depress people further.
