Hey up!

Just registered to ask a couple of serious questions about the people putting up the money.

Who are they? are they associated with Gary Coxall or anyone else in JPNG Global?

Masterplan. Someone else said that a proper bank would run away from any loan when there is a winding up petition so is the money still in place with a third petition now issued?

Who owns the development of flats and houses etc?

There's been a third petition issued?

When did this happen?

how much tax do Pools have to pay?

How can we rack up a 6 figure tax debt in just a month? The previous winding up petition was paid in full was it not?

Concerning and as Chip says, the club are talking about major capital expenditure plans when they must know that HMRC are coming after them again for a big number. It sounds all very head in sand.

I don't doubt that GC would like to fulfil his masterplan pipe dreams but when there are winding up orders month after month I would think there are more pressing action points.

Preaching to the converted Chip.

Don't forget to congratulate me for getting the HMRC to issue these petitions in order to drive Trust membership.

I'll ask again as it just doesn't seem right how can we rack up 100k of taxes in a month?

Any WU petition will have a statement attached but it'll be a mixture of income tax deducted from salaries, VAT and employers NI contributions. It sounds too much for a month, possibly a quarter.

I'm no expert but could it also be that HMRC keep digging once they get concerned about how a business is being run? In that case these amounts could be for any time over the last 18 months after adjustments were needed to make up for mistakes in the amounts declared. I'm out of touch with the UK but this sort of thing happens over here all the time.

Don't worry Phil it's just a ruse by those tossers in The Trust to scare people into joining up, I read that somewhere else. All is good and we're going to have the Sun City of the Northern Hemisphere built alongside the ground and become mega rich

I notice there is a second charge made against the club (on Companies House website) which I don't think was there this morning.

Both relating to Access Property Finance Limited. Both created on 25th November, the second being delivered on 14th December (day winding-up petition no.3 was issued?) which was 3 days after the first charge was delivered.

No PDF of the certificate available for this one yet, though.

Two separate loans?

Not 100% on this but I believe that secured debts have first go at the fixtures, fittings and property but HMRC would grab the bank account.

So 3 winding up petitions and 2 charges?

Explains about Dibble and his prime numbers then. 5 gold rings to follow?

Sort of.............when the HMRC Investigators from Bootle (imagine Premiership strikers compared to normal tax officers who are second division defenders) become involved - they can and do look at the other business arrangements of the directors - or when HMRC determines that all taxes (past and future) are at risk and they demand cash supported guarantees - from the directors. So, without naming names, a director's problems in another company could draw Pools into problems and vice versa. HMRC does have some quite Draconian powers which, until this year, I have very rarely seen used - but they are clearly sharpening their knives with everyone now.....
