Singer of one of the most depressing Christmas songs you mean.

1) Take a great Sergei Prokofiev riff
2) Add words of doom and destruction
3) Christmas!

One of the trio who killed progressive music, although to be fair, Keith Emerson didn't really need any help.

I did like early King Crimson mind, so I'll just remember him for that.

RIP Greg.

It got me thinking about the Stones and their latest album, how long do they go on for? Jagger's a dad again , it's like time's stood still. Will they all just crumble to dust mid concert ?
Surely there's a point in life where you wanna do something else or is performing the drug ?

£4m a show probably has something to do with it

The Nice started it!

Despite my New Wave/Pub Rock leanings I'm a big fan of early Prog....Love The Nice, King Crimson etc.

As you say, only Carl Palmer left.

I thought that was an alternative for the England managers job. How he got any England caps I'll never know

Prog football would be interesting. I imagine it would be like tiki-taka but with cannons being fired, a huge light show, sponsored capes and lots of enormous organs on display.

No doubt, but how much money does anyone want, he'll hardly be waiting with baited breath for his winter fuel allowance.

By the way, having been listening to Kate Bush a lot recently, I've come to the conclusion that she's basically a Prog Rockers.
