Good idea or not?

Personally I don't think it's a great idea, I understand they want to get the kids in for future supporters etc.. But surely the whole point of bar/lounge is to make money and it always seems rather busy beforehand with people spending behind the bar. I don't think I could enjoy a few pre-match pints with a load of kids knocking about.

We already have a perfectly good bar in the CK Lounge about fifty yards away do we really need two? It couldn't have been making much money on a matchday if they're doing this.

Stop whinging and go get your ugly mugs painted!

The club are trying new things aimed at younger supporters so I won't knock their efforts. Far from the biggest worry at the club like.

It's still going to be a bar as well showing the footy on tele, it's just aimed at families. It's a good idea you don't need two bars offering exactly the same thing right next to each other.

Agree. I leave the CF when groups of uncontrolled kids arrive. :animals-dogrun: Show me a bad kid and I'll show you an awful parent..........

It was already quite child friendly and a place where kids could meet some of the players occasionally after a game. Not sure that this adds anything to it but may drive some away. Let's see if the takings go up but I somehow doubt it.

Surely if your inclined to be "driven away" because of it, you would just walk the 10 steps to the CK Lounge?

Nowt like complaining about fuck all.

I love complaining about tedious things like, it's what the Bunker is all about. In hindsight maybe I was a little bit hasty with my comments, didn't really think about the parents with the kids spending a few quid. Hope it works out for them.

Haha.

Basically two bars next to each other doing same thing and people are bashing their gums because they either have to put up with a few kids or walk a few steps to a bar next door serving the same ale etc.

At a guess its probably people pissed off because they might not get to sit at their "usual" table, the type who feel they own the sole rights for its usage.

Pools always seem to announce these things when everyone is at a low ebb and the team is doing shit.

This might seem radical, but getting the team right might, just might, get more kids interested first.

Then when its going well, announce these things aand reel more in.

Like I said. Radical.

Actually, thinking about it.

The club and its fan base needs a radical overhaul.

Too many old stagers have their place embedded either in the bar, in certain seats, or at certain points on the terrace.

And its the old whingers who are the problem.

Geting more kids, and young adults, and moving the old stagers on, is the way forward.

I refuse to play as Hartlepool United until they change the game to make players skilful instead of just faster when they're meant to be better.
