What do you think the team will be on Saturday now that Ben is suspended?

Bad move I think, when Liddle is moved into defence we definitely lose a lot in midfield. I'd prefer to see Williams D move into the middle assuming Barron is fit.

Micky Barron told me at Wycombe that he wasn't left out because of fitness and didn't know why he was left out of the 16.

I'd personally go for the Liddle in midfield option as it means unsettling at a minimum (surely the best idea given we're playing a team who have just scored five) and Sweeney can fill Liddle's place and has previously played with Boland.

the game is generally won or lost in the centre of the park. It's easier to find someone to fill in a defensive role than someone who can replace Liddle in the centre. Sweeney should sit on the bench and he would come straight on for Liddle, in case Liddle is eventually required to go in the back four for whatever reason during the course of the match - but I agree that Darren Williams could/should slot in alongside Nelse with Barron at right back.

Strewth, it's frightening.
I remember when Micky Barron, was our best player, by a country mile !

I think it will be Liddle at centre back, Sweeney and Boland in centre mid.
I also think Joel will play a bigger role in these final two games, cerainly on his showing at Wycombe. Altough he didn't seem to make as much impact on Friday.

agree TPP, liddle in the middle for me too. Putting DW or MB in the middle would be a gamble IMO.

Was barron eating prawn sandwiches with you at Wycombe?

What about playing Tinkler at centre-back?

are you being serious? If so, would repeat that IMO we should go with the most unsettling option which is to have Liddle at the back and sweeney in the midfield.

Now then squire! Are you going to any of the two last games?

I don't know how you dare mention prawn sandwiches given your past record at one of Londons biggest clubs.....

Why yes, and we should play Bullock and young Matthew Robson in midfield.

They'll only give me a plastic knife and fork.

caviar on toast at 'the bridge' actually..............

I can't make Rochdale unfortunately, the wife has arranged a night out at Jongleurs as I blew out the last one, when we played Stockport. Just can't get away with it this time. Will be up for Brizzol though, might even have a few pints!

I'd say drop Liddle back and bring in Sweeney as well. The amount of ground Liddle covers is awesome and we can go 3-5-2 and back at the drop of a hat. Unfortunately the last couple of times I saw Tinks, he seems to have lost all his pace. Great tackler but it inevitably ends with a ball booted up to their defence.
