It made me laugh the other day when Hignett said he was working with a small squad. I counted 10 centre halves and 7 central midfielders but we still get bossed about by the opposition.

Centre Halves - Toto, Bates, Jones, Nearney, Pollock, Magnay, Harrison, Donnelly plus the two they signed recently but names escape me.

Midfielders - Woods, Featherstone, Laurent, Hawkins, Deverdics, Walker and Green.

Think it's more a case of quantity rather than quality which is at the root of our problems.

I may be denounced here..... but head over the parapit and all that.

New Owners, new manager, manager trying to buy cheaply/nowt for the future sell ons etc, if fulfill potential. Now big squad that can be reduced (depending on contracts/length etc). Hignetts style was working, now isn't, will either change or will work. I'm not looking at worst case scenario. No need to panic at this EARLY point in the season.

In real life this has happened to me in Football Manager!

Just my opinion, I'll duck n cover!

Has Hignett tried saving the game after every match then when we lose just switch the computer off so when he starts it up we get another go at the match?

Sort it out Hignett.

He needs to sign Peter Weatherson from Morton he was a 50 goal a season man for whoever I signed him for and one point, I will never forget his double hat trick for Newcastle in the Champions League.

Ok non of this is real and it was about 12 years ago but he did select Rob Jones yesterday.

I thought I'd be denounced for my positivity not my expertise at FM 2008!
