Going by what Ronnie Moore put on Twitter about Eastleigh wanting Houdini as next manager and insisting he and his family are fine plus the quick appointment of Allen it looks increasingly like he was sacked. Understandably after just 4 defeats in 21 and knocking a League One club out of the cup away from home he's asked them to word his departure so it's not another sacking on his CV.

The LMA intrigue me they are the first to come out in disgust every time a manager is sacked even if it's someone like Lee Clark who has two wins in the last fourteen years but say nothing when a c ooont like Allen is clearly talking to another club when a bloke still has the job.

The LMA are always disgusted when a manager is sacked. That seems to be their reason for existence these days. You could get hammered 10-0 for 6 games in a row, they would still be disgusted.

It's almost as if they represent managers...

I hope you're not suggesting that the LMA somehow favours managers in its entirely unbiased analysis of how they are treated. Allegations like that could stain the reputation of a decent institution that has no ties whatsoever to managers and just likes to comment on stuff relating to them in a neutral way.

Perhaps they could be a little more proactive though, they are very vocal after any sacking, yet before you don't hear a whisper. No doubt they have a standard press release and just change Club A and Manager B's names.

And yet they are silent about the current wave of historical child abuse. If not silent, they haven't been loud. I haven't heard a peep from them personally.

I was about to add that, but haven't really kept up with who's saying what so didn't feel clued up enough on the subject.

What I would say, is it doesn't really come as a surprise, what does, is that nobody is talking about Rugby, Gymnastics, Swimming etc.

Don't think it will be long. And prove Eric 'cunty cockney' Bristow that the rugby lads definitely weren't alright.

Brian Moore has said he was abused. I wouldn't call Mr Moore a big girls blouse or owt.

Unfortunately I think all sports will find tales of abuse. Those who abuse children usually take roles where they can be near to children, teachers, priests, coaches, scout leaders etc.

Hopefully more of them will get flushed out and removed from society.
