Immaculately observed, but why as we're all stood there is there always someone who walks in looking around at every else stood still and silent looking puzzled. Do these people think we're all playing statues or time has stood still.
Why not walk in, see what's obviously happening and stand at the end, a minute is hardly a lifetime.

Mate works in Boots and as they stood still at 11am Sunday for a minutes silence, some bloke walks in and asks "are you doing the Mannequin challenge?"

And what is with people who can`t be arsed to stand, saw a dozen in the Millhouse and all under 40

shut the turnstiles whilst the silence is on would help.
