698 at that one.

So that's 308 at Boro and Stoke 698 so far.

Stokes goal fills me with optimism for England's future with the up and coming talent Crouch heading down for Potteries born Bojan to fire home.

Thanks Mr Yubep....nice and low-ish attendances there apart from Luton but I reckon they just went to have a scrap. Donny was a bit high too. Cheltenham actually very high.

In fact they are all shit.

Wankers.

Unless the 'no attendance declared' ones mean there was literally no one there. That would be marvellous.

Why are Boro in a southern group? I don't understand.

I don't think they are, Shrewsbury have been in the Northern section a fair bit over the years, not sure about Cambridge but the other team is Scunthorpe. The whole thing just gets more farcical with every round of matches.

If the top tier clubs want to have more competitive games for their "under 23,s " then set up their own Checkashit trophy and leave ours alone!

Fair play to Middlesbrough supporters for giving the competition the bum's rush.

Can't see this farce continuing beyond this season - with a bit of luck its failure will be enough to get Shaun Harvey the boot before he does any more damage to the lower leagues.

To be fair, the low smoggie turnout might be less of a statement and more of a don't give a flying. Which when you think about it is even better.

368 at Newport.

Surely they must realise what a complete failure this has been, 3 of the Stokes starting 11 can be classed as "young english talent" the rest are from abroad and then Peter Crouch.

I really hope we get below 300 tonight, it's cold wet miserable Wednsday so I doubt many can be arsed.

Sadly I think there will be more than 800 there.

Selling new season tickets on the door at £1400 a pop, gets you a guano free seat and bragging rights over other fans for the next 30 years.
