I believe it is on the 17th November. At 7.30pm.

Not sure where though.

Think its the corner flag.

Time to get this going properly.

No excuses.

Group trip to Venezia afterwards?

Maybe Yubep could discuss a Trust/Venezia discount?

That should be the first order of business to be fair.

Not trying to have a pop at all, but the silence on the HUST website has been deafening.

I'm glad to see that overnight there's now info about the rearranged AGM, the previous update to that was 1st August!

I live out of town and can't keep up with everything that might be posted on here or any other board etc. I couldn't get to the meeting on 27th October due to work, and I'm glad I couldn't now cos it would have been a wasted journey.

I completely understand Mr Crab, but if you don't keep things up to date etc it can look to outsiders like me that things are going pear shaped and something isn't right. It can also make "friends" asking genuine questions look like snipers and creates a negative perspective.

Ok, it looks like plenty of help is still needed. So if one of the guys behind all this wants to PM me I'd like to help if it's not too late. Not looking for a position of power or owt, put perhaps looking to offer some sort of clerical type help if it's needed.

Plenty of help is still needed, is it possible for you to attend the AGM? I don't really want to go down the lines of PMs as you know what that will incite.."Bunker Trust" etc? PM me if that's the only way you can feel you can get involved but I'd rather keep things out in the open.

The Trust Steering Group has recently be re-activated after a series of delays setting up the bank account, the constitution, and a very serious illness to the main organiser who has now had to concede defeat and take a back seat after a life threatening operation.

It's back on track, we have a healthy membership of around 150, and a good amount of cash in the bank to start the ball rolling. There have been several applications for positions on the board, and a few more offering help beyond that.

We need to pull everyone together, especially on this Disabled Enclosure project which has been brought to the fore recently. HUST has the funding already in place to really set the ball rolling here.

It's been slow, it's been hard, but it's still happening, and the AGM will be the start of more action.

It's something that unites ALL Pools fans, whichever messageboard or social media you use, or don't.

A no-brainier really, as The Trust already have funds to get cracking.

Ok, I will be there on the night.

Thanks for the extra info, it's helped understand whats being going on, although I don't understand the politics!

Is the AGM an open meeting or do we have to show some form of ID?

Cheers.

Won't be able to attend with being in exile but improving the Disabled Enclosure would be a solid achievement that everybody involved could be proud of. Great idea to prove that the Trust can help to achieve meaningful changes by working with the club and other organisations.

Of course its a great idea. I doubt there is a sane person on this planet that wouldnt agree with that.

the trust is real, its organised, its legal and its professional. Its there to protect the football if the worst happens.

But whilst we have owners who appear honourable its a good idea to work with them.

It just staggers though that some people still appear to have reservations. For what reason I have no idea.

But this is Hartlepool, and we have a lot of different folk.

Also in exile at the moment so like Mr Toulouse can't be there at the AGM. Very willing to offer services from afar if I can somehow. I really hope the Trust gets legs and momentum, a professional fans organization working hand in hand with the club to make positive changes, contributions and suggestions is only a good thing. Look forward to the feedback and well done to all those taking it forward (as well as the many efforts made to get it to this stage by a number of people)

Apologise? For what? Giving enough of a fuck to help get it all started and thinking that Poolies were bright enough not to turn it into a points scoring exercise?

Nobody could have done more to kick it off John. If the people who pick it up and run with it can put in half of the effort of the original squad then they will succeed!

Its fantastic that the Trust have an open dialogie with the club now as well, and that Mr Coxall is fully supportive of the Trust.

The fact the Trust has the funds to help, and is prepared to do so, shows or proves its viability.

Coxall is saying and doing all the right things,a nd appears to be avoiding stupid social meda such as facebook and twatter.

Its all looking good, and I applaud Mr Coxall for his recent approach. So much so, I am now joining the Trust. Something I would never have down when that chief executive fella (whats his name?) was about.

Hopefully he will keep supporting Hignett, and that Hignett gets it right on the pitch.

I think Coxall deserves a lot of credit at the moment.

Health and family comes first mr i, everything after that is just noise.

You got off your arse, travelled up n down the country, put in the hard yards to get this off the ground, fair play to you for that.

Well said, think the trust and Coxall can work well together and it was great of him to show up to the launch night. I've seen he has been given grief recently because of our on the pitch performances but he has done everything he can to back the management, the blame lies firmly with Hignett.

Keep up the good work Gary!

Agreed, and the professional approach being shown by both Coxall and the Trust is a credit to all concerned.

He came across really well that night, he was open honest and you can tell he has the best interests of the club at heart.

I can kind of understand people being sceptical, ior were awful towards the end, tmh came in and they were dodgy as fook, but I don't think jpng should pay for their mistakes, they deserve to be given a chance.

He's brought in sponsorship, backed his manager, talks to fans, apart from his shoes what's not to love?

If I was to critisise him it would be his rather unprofessional use of Twitter. A medium that seems to allow all sorts of people to believe it gives them persoanl access to whoever.

The Chairman of any business should not/and usually dont conduct Business via Twitter. Not that he has.

But his laddish use of the medium has opened up the door.

Sadly its the morons who send him shit/abuse that make him look Unprofessional in my opinion but thats no fault of his own.

I was reading an interesting article the other day on how the first generation who have had their first 10-15 years of life etc documented all over Facebook are now grown up and their reactions to how they feel about it.

Wonder how they also feel when they grow up and realise their Dads etc spend their spare time sending abuse/looking a complete knob on social media/being proud to be a "tr-oll". What chance do they have?

I can understand kids doing it but will never get my head round the grown men/women.

Its always been thus.

Its just that its coated with dark humour and sarcasm, and can appear quite elitist to those that dont see through it all.

Remember this:

The very same people that gave us the trust, alsogave us PooliePride. Something that a lot of people against the bunke rnever like to give credit for.

It made more money for pools than any other group could even dream of.

Yes folks, the bunker did that. These people know what they are doing.

The bunker for me has always reflected how it's been on the pitch. The last 6/7 years have been shit n posters on here simply told it how it is. It got us a negative reputation but so be it, there wasn't a lot to be positive about.

Granted things aren't perfect on the pitch now but I don't think we're miles away n off the pitch it's loads better.

The piss taking on here I've always loved, some don't get it, but that's there problem.
