I can recommend Ian Wallace, town lad, he did our underfloor heating and upstairs rads in our new build 3 years ago. Going for Underfloor heating is the best bit of advice I was ever given, bees knees, best thing since sliced bread etc. P.M me if you want his number.

I always thought the Romans had it sussed with underfloor heating. I take it the modern version is more efficient than radiators?

I'm no expert Mr PIN but the new underfloor heating is meant to be really good and efficient. Also if you have a few bob and want to be enviromenatly friendly you can get said underfloor heating that has a pump or something under the ground to get its energy etc from there or something (I saw this on Grand Designs a while ago).
