4-1 down at Guiseley after half an hour tonight how does top train fare dodger Jackie Mcnamara still have a job? They are going straight through the conference at this rate.

Anyway the floodlights have failed !!!

I just noticed this, kind of sad as we could have suffered the same fate.

Guisley have former Poolies Jon Maxted and according to sky sports Walton is playing up front?!

McNamara has money invested in York City, that's how he got the job and that's also why he's unsackable.

That sounds very dodgy, effectively buying a job as a footy manager. It is however the same way Arsene Wenger is still Arsenal manager.

If the trust eventually bought Pools, could someone buy up most of the memberships and appoint himself manager?

Yes we're all strange. Even when it's you coming out with a comment like that out of nowhere when nobody has said otherwise or celebrated the fact the they are struggling just commented on it is everybody else who is strange.

Very unprofessional, imagine the atmosphere at the game.

York players will either feel huge pressure to keep him in the job or if they want rid they'll also play shit. Can't see any scenario where they'll be motivated by this.

That is a ridiculous statement, it sort backs up what Elvis said about them not being able to sack him.

Very easy for the players though if they want rid of him!

Absolutely crazy, a positive result or he quits, would a nil nil be enough? Or after last night would a 5-1 defeat be a positive result?

Wins that game then a bad defeat, then what? sctatchinghead

Shame as a great day out for Pools fans.

It's fine to think that but why make it public?

What a muppet. So if they win but then lose the next four would that be ok?

Dick.

He's stepped down as manager, but is now caretaker manager. What a fucking shambles.

After he was sacked by Wrexham recently Garry Mills has been announced as manager, however Mcnamara will stay on as the new Chief Executive

ElvisC, their chairman categorically denied rumours that Jackie McNamara has money invested in the club live on Talksport today. That suggests to me that he has indeed got money invested in the club!

About 300 grand by all accounts... those 15 sub appearances he made for Celtic in the 1990s must have paid handsomely
