Now I know you have more money than sense, I know you happen to think you're up there with the gods and the world really does love you and you deserve and earn every million you make. But playing for your country is a different concept altogether.
The idea is that YOU are honoured, even humbled at the idea, the concept of going out and representing your fellow countrymen and women on the world stage.
It is NOT about them being honoured that you have condescended to come down on a shaft of celestial sunlight from the Premiership to turn in a half hearted gutless cameo role for which you think the fans should get down on their knees and be humbly grateful.
There's no massive financial reward by your usual standards, just pride and self respect at stake, a novel concept, but why not give it a try eh?"
