Billy hasn't scored a goal since mid-August. Amond has started 7 in the League and got on as sub in the other 2 games, and has 2 goals to his name.

I understand why Hignett is persisting with Amond and don't disagree with giving him a chance to find his scoring boots in League football, but for Gawd's sake can we see a bit of Fewster, Orrell or Heardman on Tuesday night?

You never know, one of them might actually score a goal if they get some game time.

Must say id be a bit disapointed if i was loaning players out to a League 2 club and they just give them 120 mins of reserve team football or whatever its been. Would certainly make me think twice about sending anymore to them.

it seems obvious that with the new rules about no emergency loan window we made them signings to ensure we had squad depth.

This may well of been agreed as part of the deal and maybe the players could be training still with their parent clubs?

If they weren't going to play they may aswell have either stayed out n played youth footy and push for the first team or went elsewhere.
