I've not had any problem since, I think it was having to sit with my legs closed all squashed into the seat that did it.

From now on when any fat knackers get on the train looking for a seat I'm going to start twitching, grunting and talking about dieting to myself, and hopefully they won't want to sit next to me.

Other ideas are scratching and pretending to swat flees, telling them straight away that you're vegan or one I've been subjected to recently is talking about how you've just run the Great North Run. While very commendable, people don't want to hear about it over and over.

Been a sufferer for decades Mr. Pin, so you're in no danger. Sitting on the ground or a hard chair for 20 minutes or so sets it off - a quick stand up and walk around sorts it.
