It looks like some of the cheeky little stripy bastads have made a nest in an airbrick on my house.
What is the best thing to use on them?

I had the same problem. I bought some stuff from b&q and put it in the holes, problem solved. Was like a powder.

Burn the house down, not worth the risk of getting stung.

Show them who is boss. Poke your cock in Mr Nottingham, all will be fine.

I bought some mousse/foam stuff that you just sprayed as close to the nest as you could, think it was only about £3-£4 a tin from The Range.

Wait till the Suns setting then spray some ant killer at the entrance one of them entering will take it to the queen she dies and they all buzz off. There less likely to sting last thing in the day. Or pay the council to do the same thing like I did once and that was his advice when he came. Done it twice with the right outcome.
