Looked like some very bad judging to me. The lass was well on top apart from rd1.

Ripped off but proud of the girl.

It looked like bad judgeing to me as well.
She did herself and the town proud very unlucky not to of won in my eyes.

I would say she probably won two of the four, arguably 3. But for one judge to give it 4-0 the other way is terrible judging.

I think they should go back to the old system of points as I really don't think this suits, its far to subjective this way.

The boxing is the one sport at these Olympics that has failed. Its absolutely fucking rubbish.

To the point that its clearly corrupt.

I'd say she definitely won 2 but possibly 3 of the rounds. I also noticed she took a fair few shots to the back of the head which was allowed. It always fills with confidence when a load of judges have been sent home for not being good enough and making mistakes but its too late by then.

Thats the thing with boxing, it's subjective. In say the 100 metres sprint the fastest wins, whereas I watched one of the earlier bouts, when the commentator made a good point about the "luck of the draw" with Judges. IE some liked front foot attacking boxers, whilst some liked the counter punch defensive boxers. The fight in particular (although I'm no expert) I had one boxer winning easily on points, whereas, ........you can gather the rest.

The pushing button rule didn't work either! In previous Olympics there was some even worse scoring.

As I said, Subjective.

Boxing is a ridiculously corrupt sport.

At least in the Olympics you used to see the score and had an indicatation of how much the judges had been bunged throughout the fight.
