Good on them. But I hope their walkout is a bit better supported than the Bunker's protest against IOR a few seasons back.

I for one, will not be attending any of these games. When the Football League goes the same way as the continent with Reserve teams competing that is the time to call it a day for me. But i suspect there are m,any who will attend at the prospect of seeing a Premiership "star".

I see they are still supporting the club to provide them with finance. It would seem more sensible to donate the money to the club so that they receive all of it rather than a split with the opposition?

hmmm maybe another idea. someone (I'm no good at this) set up a just giving page and donate to the club (youth development) etc, and all those that dont go to the game still donate their cash to the club?

Maybe a thought there

Just boycott the fucker. Why do football supporters always try to make the simplest things complicated?

OK, for the hard of understanding.

1. Do not go to ground.
2. If you fail this one, do not pay to get in.
3. If you fail this one as well, so are as thick as shit and shouldnt be allowed outside.

Equally wrong on both counts. Shows consistency at least.

Feel the same way about your posts Kevin.

But that's ok, it's all about opinions and neither of us are going anywhere.

We both still here.
Hope u ok by the way.

But im more concerned about this new EFL new league structure which gets voted on in June for the following season.
Looking like this new league of 5 divs of 20 will come off by way of xtra tv mo ey to compensate for 6 fewer fixtures.

So if we dont get our act together and finish in the top half next season we will be in league 3 ( division 5 ).
Just a thought but its the future whether u like it or not!

Think there was an article on bbc sport yesterday saying this was unlikely to happen

It's not the JPT it's the Checkatrade trophy and it's not even classed as competitive first team football. We don't want to be in it, it is not in the interests of a club like Pools to be in it and our Chairman has stated that we don't want to be in it. It just needs to be swerved completely, it's borderline moronic to pay in be included in the attendance figure then walk out stpid

As for what you said about IOR, IOR went really when Berge Larsen ended his input in the club from then on really IOR was just Ken Hodcroft a bloke who was formally employed by IOR as part of his job to be Pools Chairman but by the end was taking his own wages out of the club because all of the money from Norway had stopped. Nobody 'sowed the seeds' he was looking for extra investment or a way out for years. I don't think he really gave a fook about a few people walking out.
