Right, looking for a bit of advice.

I'm looking for one of those all in one jobs, plays CD's, tapes, vinyl and can record onto a USB stick so it can be put on an iPod/MP3 and all that.

It absolutely does NOT need to be BOSE quality, anything will do, in fact the cheaper the better, just needs to do the job...obviously I've looked on the net and found some cheap options but wanted to get your thoughts...

Cheers

Seen a few in Charity Shops mate, mainly because they aren't of any quality. Have you got a PC or Laptop? If so, far better downloading EZ and just getting a half decent turntable (some really good 80s Pioneers, Marantz etc on EBay for little money) and linking that up to your device.

These Crosley all-in-one things are plasticy shite....not worth the money at all.

Go to the Daisy Chain Charity shop on Portrack, there's an ION USB Turntable in there for 30 quid if you must, but the results won't be good.

Doesn't "upgrading " your "records" to digital just negate the whole reason for using it in the first place?

Thanks Mr Elvis - the ones I've looked at look like my old Alba from when I was about 13. Sound quality was pretty poor but I had the bugger for years - it was cheap crap but it worked.

Bought Wharedale separates and they were the dogs nuts until it recently died.

So really, the quality doesn't matter massively, just providing it can play my vinyl and tapes/CDs....surely something will be alright?!

No, no, no Mr Offshore, it's only so I can listen to the vinyl on the go/avoiding listening to the missus.
