WITHOUT having read HUFC2005 or Rivals.net, I am led to believe that people are on the warpath on these boards because we didn't take 3 points last night. Hopefully, the players and management at HUFC won't think too badly of Pools fans in general because of such oafs, waifs and strays who are behaving like Man U fans who have just watched their team on the telly get knocked out of the Champions League (here's hoping_).
Anyway I digress, WELL DONE to the lads for sticking with it last night against a team who played very well, and for taking a point from the match in the end. Especially well done to Dimi for another great penalty save. That's two points he's gained us from saving penners now, i.e. two thirds of the lead we hold over Walsall this morning.

agreed, though I couldnt help feel a bit gutted walking away from the ground last night, as indeed the players seemed to feel afterwards. Quite possibly the high of achieving promotion followed by a definite desire to win the league falling at the next hurdle - though in hindsight now we've looked back and realised we cleared that hurdle better than our opponents and are still out in front with two to go.
Whatever happens, the last match should be party time.
Well done Pools - I'm well proud of you

top post BWH as you say promotion is in the bag, ive been lucky to see 3 promotions and the 1st was electric one of the best feelings, the second was with newell was good but not as good as the 1st.. this season although we started slow, after our run and being top so long ive sort of took promotion for granted. the title will be the icing on the cake and i'll be the 1st to admit there will be a tear in my eye if it happens

Ta mate. I've been watching Pools since about 1984 so have seen my fair share of dross as well as the promotions and I reckon I may have watery eyes as well should we win the bloody thing.
