I like her, see doesn't give a fuck and isn't afraid to be herself and seems completely unaffected by fame.

Feeling the need to "fuck" this and "fuck" that just because you're at Glastonbury isn't my idea of liking someone. Also the continued attempt to tall to the crowd between her utter shit songs have been cringe worthy.

I've heard her speak before she is quite sweary, as I say it's just her. I'm not a fan of her music but I don't think she's an idiot just a fairly normal lass who's done well. Apart from when she performs which is hardly ever she's never in magazines or papers.

Personally don't mind her music, she has a style and voice that has an appeal, good on her I say, wouldn't and haven't bought any of her records.

As for her personailty I have seen her interviewed a few times and she is a bit sweary. Also she comes across as down to earth, hides from the spotlight, money hasn't changed her. She still as the same friends she had before she was famous. And I reckon (with no evidence) she probably goes to Tesco's in her pjyamas.

One of the reasons she is seldom in magazines is probably to do do with her dress sense, I believe the look to be between a grieving Greek widow and a nonagenarian from Bournmouth hth.

Just wondering what I'm missing out on here. If her songs are utter shit, please, please give me all your listening recommendations for songs that aren't.
I'll just put the kettle on.

Rolf Harris never wrote Two Little Boys. He merely had a hit with a cover version of it.

I'm no Adele fan but she was very, very good last night.

Not as good as the mighty Squeeze, or ELO, or Catfish And The Bottlemen even, but she did a good job.

Coldplay are so middle of the road and boring. Caught the last half hour, which I assume was all their most recent stuff, and it was absolute garbage. They had a few decent songs about a decade or so ago, but they're just terrible now.

Least they brought Barry Gibb on so they could play at least one decent song.

I am far from a coldplay fan, but they were so much better than Adele it was actually good to watch.

Adele has a fantastic voice, and seems a very grounded and nice person, and her songs obviously resonate with a lot of people.

I just find her songs about as dull as its possible to be. Surely thats not what headlining a festival is about? Well it never used to be. On saying that some of the headline acts in recent years suggests festivals are not what they used to be.

Coldplay at least got the crowd going and bouncing a bit, if not a lot.

Again I find them boring, but not as boring as Kanye West or Adele, or one of them DJ types that bizarely has got to headline a couple of festivals.

But Muse were very good on Friday.

How many headline acts are there left though? Kasabian seem to be one festival or another every year, as are ColdPlay. Not sure who else is left.

The youngun is going to T in the Park, mainly to see the Stone Roses. Not sure what he is going to do after friday though, as its down hill mainly after that.

At least he can go and see SLF, which will at least remind everyone how music used to be played live. Loud fast political songs, without a hint of pretentiousness. I doubt Jake Burns will spend ten minutes talking about the planet.

I am very much in the hate camp when it comes to coldplay, get get away with them, but i liked the viola beach tribute, very nice touch.

He's still a pleb though.
