Well lads and lasses it looks like its going down to the wire.
Notts County caused us a few problems last saturday , to be honest we were a bit lucky to nick a win. so i'm not suprised by your result tonight.

We'll do our best to hammer Bury . and increase our goal difference even more .

Our friend Scotty has a habit of cocking most things up and I'm sure he'll have a go at your title aspirations. Looks like a nailbiter on the 5 May.

Is it. Last time i checked we are now 3 points clear and. we only have to win 2 games. Walsall on the other hand have 3 to play. 2 teams fighting for their lives and of course Swindon. So dont you be getting yourself over excited yet .

I'm not, but check again and if we win our three games then it's down to goal difference......which is better than yours.

Not saying we will win mind you but it is, at this moment in time, up to us

Until Saturday PM when we fail to beat Bury

Well you have an edge I'll grant you - but you still have to win all 3 to be sure, and none of them are easy

The swindon game is key, but Rovers are no push overs either.

Certainly exciting!

I'm sure I don't need to spell it out

As you said, exciting couple of weeks coming up

My prediction is you will win tomorrow & next week, we will win next week (when we don't have Mike Pike refereeing )- but I think you will draw at Swindon & we will beat Bristol Rovers, mainly on the grounds of us having home advantage - Job done

every report i read of last weeks game suggested notts county battered walsall. even the football league review commented on the walsall winner being against the run of play.

walsalls manager said it was their worst performance of the season. yet the won with yet another late goal.

if walsall win tomoro they will go top and the 8 point lead we held after the chester game will have been wiped out.

its very unlikely swindon will have anything to play for on the last day of the season and even wrexham could have nothing to play for if results go their way tomoro.

in truth we could have had the game sewn up in the first half hour tonight. we were also very lucky to get a point in the end. we have big ben suspended next week.

cheltenham, bristol city, rushden, cardiff...not sure i can take another kick in the teeth if we lose the title.

Relax, we are Walsall, we are destined to fail. The only possible way we won't fail is if there's a team with a worse record of failing at the last than us.......

.......well at least one of us is going to be happy!

We haven't won anything since 1960 confised

That is certainly possible. Swindon knifed us at the Bezla, cut us open like Sweeny todd. They are well capable of doing that again, should they so desire......

On the plus side, we have developed an annoying habit of fluking last minute winners

How could we have had it sewn up in the 1st 1/2 hour? Every meaningful attack we mounted was pulled up for offside (irrespective of whether it really was offside you understand)

Liddle can fill big Ben's shoes. He had a decision to make & sacrificed himself to prevent a certain goal, good call as it turned out

Cheer up man - it's still all to play for. As to Walsalls game at Swindon, it's the last game of the season, traditonally a day for big crowds, Swindon will be motivated by their fans, every club wants a win last day of the season - but PARTICULARLY if they are in front of a big home crowd

It ain't over yet by a long way

We've had our bad run , we are not playing well but still winning that for me is a sign of champions , Most Saddlers fear our last game at Swindon will be our downfall , to be honest i fear Bury and Wrexham more they have more to play for.

I will be gutted if we don't win the league from here , but i will take a little
consolation that if we don't win it you guys will.
What ever happens i will look forward to our 2 games in league 1 next season.

Hanoi is a place I've never been, although I hear the 'old quarter' in town and the pagoda on the lake are the famous bits. It's smaller and quieter than Saigon. Look to get out into the scenic foothills to the West where Sapa and the 1954 French graveyard of Dien Bien Phu are the main draws, or the Halong Bay area to the SouthEast is a world heritage site.

Anyone know any horseshit recipes?
confised

Yes, take several pounds of fresh steaming Sainsbury's 'Taste The Difference' horse apples and a large heavy wooden spoon.

Eat the first and beat Martin Butler senseless with the second........

Oh and ta for the tips.

Walsall have been playing below par and made excessive use of the 'get out of jail card'...looks like the cards have dried up.... Bury are fighting for their league place too. As for the 8 point lead, so what? leads come and go. And finally, the title, if we win it, we win it, if we don't I aint gonna go round like Mr Grumpy with piles bemoaning the fact....We've achieved what we set out to do
