Going by Coxalls twitter, we held talks with Peterborough but couldn't come to an agreement. Shame like as I think he would've been good to have back, again it shows ambition and making the right sort of approaches.

I'm ambivalent about James to be honest.

I like his workrate, but he lacks an end product and has done for a couple of years. Even in his latter days with Pools first time round he was going off the boil as a Striker.

Got to agree with the last few posts - not overly bothered if he goes elsewhere. Running around and throwing yourself about isn't enough - we need an end product for the effort.

I think if a good deal could of been agreed it would of been a good bit of business. I did feel we looked better with him in the side last year and at only 21 he still has plenty of time to make him worth a bit of a risk with his poor scoring record in recent years.

We have Amond who might play that role now as well though and Oates is still involved and is Bingham still at the club? Anyway I suppose it's not the the area we are weakest in.
