We did have a few good season but I think that was more thanks to the likes of Neale Cooper than IOR. I always thought they were shitting themselves about the prospect of us getting to the Championship, as they would have been expected to really invest in the Club. What Burton Albion have achieved puts IOR's "success" into perspective and they nearly (very nearly!) left us in a far worse position than they found us.

With his lack of/piss poor people skills I'm surprised he made it anywhere in "business".

He will be too busy burning Oldham shirts.

Thats more to the point.

It was Larson and his money that gave Pools there best times. Once that was gone Hodcroft had nowt to offer.

It wasnt always bad. This has the same feel as the way ex players are now regarded.

Humphreys, Barron etc.

For some reason the good times are forgotten, like peoples Historical memORies have been wiped out, like their Browser history.

He came, he saw, he went. Not the worst Pools chairman ever by a long way but easily the most out of touch.

Good times were despite of Hodcroft, not because of him.

He certainly dident have the Charisma and personality of Mr Coxall.
A very arrogant man who had us feeling like angry customers than fans.

Another point is that I doubt very much Gary Coxall spends his time trying to teach game plans to Higgy.

I also reckon Coxall keeps his mother away from selecting the team as well.
