On Sunday I was driving very slowly through the crowds on St Ives sea front, and couldn't help but guffaw when a big flock of gulls all took flight and shat in unison over a crowd of holidaymakers.

Less than half an hour later I had got an ice cream for me and our lass and was walking back to the beach towards her when a gull swooped down over my shoulder and pecked the ice cream right off her cone.

To be fair, it was worth the £2 to buy her a new one to see the group gull cacking.

I love gulls, they just look like they don't give a toss.I was working near a quayside with a mate lifting a bulkhead door into place and we were about a foot apart when a gull dive bombed us. He got it right down his front and I escaped spotless...the irony being he was always the immaculate one and as for me....
