Got a 2 for 1 voucher the other week so used it yesterday.

Very underwhelmed by it, it's been about 12 year since the last time I've been but it just seems so small and not a huge choice of rides.

It was absolutely dead with it pissing it down on the morning but by about 2pm the sun was out and it was fine.

A couple of the rides were shut but managed to go on Kumali (decent suspended coaster), Velocity (motorbike ride, 0-60mph in about 2 seconds, bit like Rita at Alton Towers) and Hero (Just like Air at Alton Towers). Also went on a few more like Flip Flop and few other daft ones.

The zoo was pretty shit as well, me and our lass had been on all the rides we wanted and explored the "Zoo" and were done after about an hour.

Usual price is £37 for an adult which is just mental for what you actually get.

It is stupidly priced and surprisingly still gets a lot of visitors during the school hols. I'm only guessing but I'd say it's probably similarly priced to the likes of Alton Towers despite there being better odds of becoming a millionaire there than by playing the lottery.

Nobody pays full price to get in you can always get the latest two for one voucher code online.

It's alright for what it is we took the little one last year and he enjoyed it and the three of us got in for less than £40. I can't wait to take them to Florida in a few years once they are old enough to appreciate it the problem is after that they'll realise everything is a bit shit here day out wise after that!

I always kick myself when I think about Florida, I went when I was 13 years old but I hated rollercoasters at the time, now I can't get enough of them. My Dad and my other brother went on everything but I didn't have the bottle.

I'd love to go back.

We went twice in 18 months and I'm itching to get back there. It's been four years since the last time never been on a decent coaster since. Mind, went Disney Paris 2 years back and that's improved no end..things like Tower Of Terror and the Aerosmith thing were better than Orlando.

Can't agree more about Orlando, if I had the money I would go there every year. You are making Disneyland Paris sound promising Mr C, we are going there in 6 weeks and we can't wait, the best bit is the kids don't know that we're going, can't wait to see their face when they find out

Not been to Flamingoland, or Flamingo Park as it was then for about 45 years, consequently I can't remember a thing. Florida however, now that's different, been 12 times and can't wait to get back again, used to go on my own when I was single, brilliant only got yourself to please, a couple of times it was funded entirely by betting. Their public transport is terrific too with reasonably priced weekly and fortnightly tickets. If you want a ton of fun and virtally guaranteed weather you could'nt go anywhere better.

Approximately 30 years ago the shittest thing at Flamingo Land/Park was the big wooden raft that let an inch of water run around your feet as you sailed around a lake. Didn't scare anybody except for small kids who thought they were about to drown and go berserk. That was so bad that if it is still there I'd be tempted to take my kids just to show them just how shit the olden days were.

Actually the fibre glass 'Africans' in the bushes round the lake were even shitter.
