Not been on here for a long while, my fault, not blaming anyone or anything. But when I found out that the presentation night for pools is to be held in the Grand, I thought why the Grand and why on a Wednesday night. a pie n peas do is not something one associates with a Grand Central establishment (ten quid apparently). I think the apprentices might find a problem with the prices they charge in there for a drink. no problem with the ten quid.
Most people I'm sure would like it to be held on a Friday or Saturday night, no work the next day and all that.
But then again we live in Hartlepool and dont have to travel back down to wherever Sir Russ lives, and we wont be getting an ex- gratia room for arranging it there.

It might be a case of that's the only night the club could get? Or it's a central location which might make it easier for most to travel to than the Borough Hall.

Im not going to a player of the year do till they move it to the Ritz on a Saturday night.

I also heard Scott Fenwick is going in a full Darlo Kit... Shinpads as well!

He as just joined our board so he can play against the bunker if he match fit having a fitness test with rest of the lads at Catterick training camp this week.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Fenwick has been a member of the Bunker since 2013... Here he is trying to get himself a deal at Pools, it actually worked!
