Would you mind if I set up a Poolie Rant thread. I'm not very well at the moment and feeling Ranty. the last few days everything seems to get me Vexed! I've got a pain in my right buttock and think proper Man Flu is coming back (coughing as I type). It would help my recuperation, as well as helping Bunkerites get stuff off their chest, so to speak.

I do not wish to tread on anyone's toes, so to speak, like Butts blog etc, so am happy for the thread to be called "The Poolie Rant", or "Bunkerites Rant . I can't even agree with meeself about the name at the minute. You's decide and if you delete this drivel I won't be offended, when I'm feeling better.

The crowds at Bishop are sparse
and the games are usually a farce
He is buying posh socks
to wear with his frocks
No wonder he has a pain in his arse

I`m here all week bbolt

It's already a Curmudgeonly Gadgies Forum, remember, Bishop. However, with all your bad luck lately, you do seem to need an extra thread at the moment.

I don't know about your right buttock, but I'm tired of telling everyone that if they take Echinacea at the first sign of a cough or cold, the cold either doesn't develop at all, or is very much milder. Go to Holland and Barrett and get yourself a bottle. Vogel, not their own brand.

A doctor writes:

Mr. Bishop, as well as the symptoms commonly associated with sciatica you described elsewhere, it appears that you may be suffering from another common ailment, soshalmedieritis. Symptoms are a compulsion to share with strangers random opinions on almost any subject as they pop into the sufferer's head.

In other words, as well as feeling a pain in the arse, there is a danger of becoming one.

Many people learn to live full (if not necessarily productive) lives with soshalmedieritis, for which there appears to be no cure short of a nuclear winter. However, my advice is to take extra precautions until your present episode of "feeling Ranty" has passed.

Thanks Doc.

Todays rant. Went to the food festival yesterday, got off the bus, went to pub where I realised I left my wallet at home!!!!!! rakxe Luckily I know the Landlord who insisted on lending me a few quid probably cos A) he's a good bloke and knows I'm trustworthy and B) cos he knew I would whinge for hours otherwise. The problem is even though I had enough money I didn't want to spend it as in my mind it wasn't mine! The landlord said square him up on Monday. I don't like owing so am going to the pub today to square up my debt. I don't usually partake in alcohol on a Sunday, but feel I will have to today. No-one else seemed worried about my financial embarrassment except me. Everyone shrugged shoulders and said we've all done that at some point! :angry-tappingfoot: :angry-screaming: How can you leave the house without your wallet? :confusion-confused:
