I may be wrong but it seems this year has seen more celebrity deaths than any other year ever.

Not a good time to be one.

Not just celebrities but apparently an increase in people who were born in the 1960's dying in their 40's and 50's largest increase in cancer cases in this age group.

Flu has been a killer over the Winter, especially the elderly and Dementia sufferers.

Back to the Colonels point, I agree there does seem to be more celebrities dying this year. In fact year on year there seems to be more. Is it because of the Interweb, 24 hour News channels etc, so we find out quicker? *Or is it we have more telly channels so more "Celebrities" are appearing?Or is it a case of the post 2nd World War baby Boom? I remember quite a few years ago I seemed to be attending a retirement do every week.

*If this is the case I refuse to mourn any Big Brother, Geordie Shore etc, etc Z list celebs when I am older.

It may be that the celebrities in question are ones we actually care about. I can't see many lines in the paper if for example Jack Smethurst goes the journey.

Should never have left after season 2!!
