Hardly surprising is it they are all but mathematically gone and the chairmans statement the other week saying the basically have no money for at least two years and the unpopular manager who's results have been a disaster is staying no matter what was hardly inspiring.

I can see them doing a Stockport and if the new ground doesn't happen even a Darlo unfortunately.

In the same position I don't think many of us would be in a rush to travel in numbers to away games.

Lassie who I used to see most mornings walking her dog on The Rec is their Club Secretary...think she worked at Pools for a while (Lisa?)

Haven't spoken to her for a bit as I only get to walk the mutt on a night lately but will try and find out what's gone on there.

If we beat them and Stevenage beat Newport then York are gone.

Would need to win remaining four, Stevenage to lose all theirs and somehow overturn a -11 goal difference. Would be a greater escape than ours if they pulled that off.

York are gone. There's no maybe about it.

They play us then three of the top six. Stevenage could down tools and they wouldn't catch them.

But if by some chance they did catch Stevenage, imagine the tattoos.

You'd think they still might fancy the game as the last time they might be playing us for a while.

On the whole I'd say away attendances at the Vic have been lower than normal, Portsmouth are the only club who've sold out the rink end all season

We haven't played Portsmouth at home this season yet? Sure it's our final game.

I dont get comments like your first bit.

I can umderstand the fans thinking that but the players have no alligence or anything like that.

They wont carw about maybe playing pools for the last time. They will be mire concerned with finding a new club.

Not having a dig but its like a nostalgic comment that belongs to players from the 60s or 70s.

Well lets hope so.

It may give them a future.

Now thats the second question you have asked about trusts on a non trust message board.

Are you going to go for the hattrick.?

We're for it lads.

"In the last couple of games, we have looked like we're going to give somebody a hiding soon and, hopefully, that will be Hartlepool. I feel we've got three or four goals in us over 90 minutes and we just need to put that second one in to settle us down, then go on and get a third or fourth."

Jackie McNamara is the worst thing to happen to York City since their 1974 "Y"-Front shirts.

A Charlatan of a Manager.

They'd have stood FAR more of a chance by appointing Ronnie Moore when he left Pools.

He's not nicknamed Jackie Sacknamara for nothing.

Ronnie is quoted in the Fail today touting for the Chester job and using EXACTLY the same patter about how bored his is at home as he did when he got the Pools job.

If his patter hasn't changed what hope is there for his tactics?

I think that is very comprehensive summing up of how you score four goals in a game. At the end of the day you can't go on and score three and four if you've not scored at least two first. I don't know what the York fans are moaning about the bloke is talking perfect sense.

It's like last Satirday we got the first three to settle us down then went on to get the fourth and even fifth.

Maybe if you scored the 4th one first the players would be more confident and it's more likely the 1st, 2nd and 3rd would come?
