Just watched goals on Sky and have to say, totally impressed with Pool fans.

The supporters looked absolutely fantastic behind the goal.

To have 727 out of 2005, sounded like a home game on the radio.

It couldn`t have sounded like a home game unless it was silent :shhh:

Was a great atmosphere to be fair and a nice pie, although at 3.60, it should be :o

Cracking good day out today pools were excellent and played them off the Park.
Got to say we played like a Team full of confidence and played some excellent football at times and really how they scored 2 was a bad reflection of the game as a whole.
Got to mention Thomas his all round game was excellent so hats of to Ronnie he has signed a very good player for us.
Bad point of the day i could not understand why the coppers were so Intent of generating bad feelings when all the pools fans were doing was just enjoying watching their team play a really good game of Football

I'm only going by the highlight but both goals conceded were bad faults. Thankfully we were ruthless at the other end.

What a difference a couple of months makes. Glad I got that Ronnie Moore tattoo.

They weren't the worst team I've every seen, we were just that good and I would say getting 2 goals flattered them. The second was obviously a mistake from Featherstone but he played very well and if anything were just too comfortable in that moment.

What highlights won't show is that we also finished the game with 10 men, Carroll went after his clash of heads before there second but went off immediately after our 5th.
