It is a good job we picked up and had a decent run in March.
If we had relied on our games in hand to pull away from the danger zone, we would have been very much disappointed.

Stevenage (Home) - Lost
Notts County (Home) - Lost
Newport (Away) - Drew
Carlisle (Away) - Lost
Notts County (Away) - ?

1 point from a possible 12 so far.

With Moore in charge, I don't think we would have gone on our recent unbeaten run, which has almost guaranteed our place in League Two next season, and coupled with the fact that we have wasted those games in hand, getting in Hignett was the best thing the owners could have done.

Surely we are due a win on a Tuesday night away from home next week?!?!

Ultimately it's those games in hand that are going to cost us a play off place.

Even if we only won six of our remaining fixtures we'd be on 63 points which is two points ahead of seventh.

We're certainly playing well enough. It'll be difficult but it's not impossible. Wembley would be nice.
