If I remember rightly only the top two clubs get medal as league champs and runners up. There's nothing for finishing third. So Swindon might have a lot to play for when they entertain Walsall on May 5th.

They'll definitely want to finish as high as possible and if only second place is there to go for they will definitely want to achieve it, bloody medals or no bloody medals. Howay the Swindon ( as long as we pick up our wins to get the league)

Surely the team that finish second will receive more prize money than those that finish third as well.

There is a sizeable chunk of cash for finishing second. I seem to remember we got 30K for finishing behind R&D, who got 100K, dunno about third but obviously fourth get a big chunk of play off attendance money which probably means they do best.
